We discover La Fageda

We will visit La Fageda, a company located in the heart of La Garrotxa that produces delicious yogurts, ice creams, and jams. However, the most special part isn't just its products: La Fageda was founded by a psychiatrist with the goal of offering dignified work and a better quality of life to people with intellectual disabilities or mental health conditions.

During the visit, we will discover how this successful project works, stroll through the estate, and get an up-close look at the calves, cows, and milking robots. We will also learn about the production process of their famous yogurts and jams, viewing the factory from an exterior corridor while every stage of production is explained to us.

To wrap up, the best part of all… we will get to taste their products! A perfect experience to practice Catalan, discover an exemplary social project, and enjoy one of the most beautiful spots in La Garrotxa.
