The Montserrat massif is one of the purest symbols of Catalan identity. Tradition, religion, and culture come together in one of the most spectacular natural areas of our region.
We will visit the basilica and the image of the Virgin of Montserrat, known as La Moreneta, patron saint of Catalonia. We will also explore the museum’s rooms, which house a large number of artistic treasures, and the audiovisual space Montserrat portes endins. Finally, we will all have lunch together at the abbey’s buffet.
The price of the trip includes admission fees, lunch, train tickets (round trip), and cable car tickets.
To ensure we depart on time, we will meet at 9:00 a.m. at the Montserrat tourist stand (FGC Pl. Espanya station, Barcelona).
Note: The Montserrat cable car is not accessible for people with reduced mobility.
