One of the most internationally recognized images of Catalonia is the castells (human towers), which have been UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage since 2010.
The casteller world embodies some of the fundamental pillars of Catalan culture: effort, the drive to improve, a spirit of brotherhood, and the power of teamwork.
Immerse yourself in this beautiful tradition by attending a rehearsal of the Gausacs, the colla castellera of Sant Cugat del Vallès, who will open the doors of their headquarters for a unique, behind-the-scenes experience.
