In the center of Barcelona, there is a Modernist house that hides more than one secret.
Casa Amatller, designed by the architect Josep Puig i Cadafalch, preserves not only one of the most striking structures of Catalan Modernism but also all the original furniture belonging to its creator and first owner: the chocolatier Antoni Amatller.
Accompanied by a specialist in the period and the building, we will take a guided tour that will conclude with a sweet gift.
Afterwards, we’ll go for a drink to discuss what we already knew, what we wanted to know, and what we discovered about Modernism during the visit.
